By car it's about 7.8 miles and 15 minutes in clear traffic, by Bath Road and over Marlow Bridge. Marlow Bridge is Grade I listed, with a 3 tonne maximum authorised mass limit and a narrow width limit, so check the figure on your vehicle's plate or hire documents rather than assuming a car qualifies. Over that limit the way round is by Cookham Bridge and Maidenhead, about 14.5 miles and 29 minutes. These are estimates from map routing rather than timed drives, so allow a little longer at busy times.
For a van, Wigwam Reading may be the easier trip: about 8.4 miles and 21 minutes by road, with no weight or width restriction found on the way in.
Once you're there, you let yourself in by smart entry, any day from 6am to 10pm.
Two sites, two bridges
Marlow is the shorter drive by car, but Marlow Bridge has a 3 tonne limit. Reading has no restricted crossing on the way in.

Marlow's smallest unit is 10 sq ft, which is £10 a week on the first floor and £11.50 on the ground floor. A 35 sq ft unit is £27.50 or £31.50 and 75 sq ft is £53.50 or £61. Reading starts at 20 sq ft on the first floor, at £15 a week. Both are on our Marlow storage prices and Reading storage prices pages, and storage is billed every four weeks rather than by calendar month.

Began using Wigwam Self Storage in Marlow at the beginning of September but before hand the team helped me select the right unit for my needs by remotely opening each storage unit during my pre contract visit.
Once the contract period commenced the access to the phone app was activated, the app is self explanatory and access was simple with no issues.
The storage facility itself is in excellent condition and I would definitely recommend the facility for its convenience and proximity in Marlow.

Whole process from start to finish was very smooth and the Introductory offer were better then anything else I was looking at.
Managed to book a unit viewing, and have the process setup in about an hour, so could start moving stuff in as soon as possible.
The remote/ keyless access app works well.

We needed storage as we are moving house and needed somewhere not too far away. The whole process was easy, the price was good and Holly was very diligent in sorting out our needs. We used the app, which was very simple, and our first time at the storage meant we could open all the doors and our unit very easily. Wargrave storage: useful things to know
Is there a Wigwam store in Wargrave?
No. Our nearest is Wigwam Marlow, about 7.8 miles away by car. Wigwam Reading is about 8.4 miles away.
How long does the drive take?
About 15 minutes to Marlow by car and about 21 minutes to Reading in clear traffic. These are routing estimates, so allow longer at busy times.
Can I take a hire van to Marlow?
Not over Marlow Bridge if its maximum authorised mass is over 3 tonnes. The way round via Cookham Bridge is about 14.5 miles, so many van drivers will find Reading easier. Check the figure on the plate or in your hire documents.
When can I get to my unit?
Any day from 6am to 10pm at Marlow, by smart entry. The office is open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 4pm.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
No deposit is needed. We're not currently taking deposits from new customers.
How long do I have to stay?
The minimum stay is two weeks. After that you stay as long as you need and give 14 days' notice when you're ready to leave.
Do I need insurance?
Everything you store needs cover: our contents protection, or your own policy if it covers goods in self storage. Send us proof within 14 days of moving in and we'll refund the contents protection charges.
Which site starts cheaper?
Marlow starts at £10 a week for 10 sq ft and Reading at £15 a week for 20 sq ft, both on the first floor. Check both price pages for your size.
