It's about 16.6 miles by road, roughly 31 minutes in clear traffic. Head south out of Wendover on Wendover Road and Missenden Road, then follow Hampden Road, Bryants Bottom Road and Warrendene Road to Valley Road. The A4128 Hughenden Road takes you into High Wycombe; join the A40 Abbey Way, leave town on the A404 Marlow Hill, and follow the A404 to Parkway for Fieldhouse Lane. That's an estimate from map routing rather than a timed drive, so allow a little longer at busy times. The first part is on minor roads rather than A-roads, so if you are driving a large hired van, check the route before you set off.

Once you're there, smart entry gets you in any day from 6am to 10pm. The office is open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm, and you can call 01628 769004.

Marlow has two floors, and the floor changes the price. A 25 sq ft unit starts at £22 a week on the first floor, and a 75 sq ft unit is £53.50 upstairs and £61 on the ground floor. A 150 sq ft unit is £98.50 on the ground floor. Every size and floor is listed on our Marlow storage prices page, and storage is billed every four weeks rather than by calendar month.

Why Wendover people store with us

Wendover sits at the foot of the Chilterns under Coombe Hill, and the Ridgeway National Trail runs along the High Street. The Wendover Arm of the Grand Union Canal ends just north of the centre. Storage from here usually follows a move, a downsize or a renovation, or a home business that needs room for stock. There is no Wigwam in Wendover itself, so Wigwam Marlow is the nearest place to keep things safe while life rearranges itself.

Began using Wigwam Self Storage in Marlow at the beginning of September but before hand the team helped me select the right unit for my needs by remotely opening each storage unit during my pre contract visit. Once the contract period commenced the access to the phone app was activated, the app is self explanatory and access was simple with no issues. The storage facility itself is in excellent condition and I would definitely recommend the facility for its convenience and proximity in Marlow. Thank you to the team for helping me during the initial set up period.

Whole process from start to finish was very smooth and the Introductory offer were better then anything else I was looking at. Managed to book a unit viewing, and have the process setup in about an hour, so could start moving stuff in as soon as possible. The remote/ keyless access app works well.

We needed storage as we are moving house and needed somewhere not too far away. The whole process was easy, the price was good and Holly was very diligent in sorting out our needs. We used the app, which was very simple, and our first time at the storage meant we could open all the doors and our unit very easily. When can I get to my unit?

Any day from 6am to 10pm, using smart entry. The office is open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm.

Is it worth the drive?

It is one of the longer runs to Marlow, so it suits a big move or a long stay rather than a few boxes.

Is the first floor cheaper?

Yes, at the sizes where Marlow offers both floors. A 75 sq ft unit is £53.50 a week upstairs against £61 on the ground floor.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

No. We're not currently taking deposits from new customers.

How long do I have to stay?

The minimum stay is two weeks. After that you stay as long as you need and give 14 days' notice when you're ready to leave.

Do I need insurance?

Everything you store needs cover: our contents protection, or your own policy if it covers goods in self storage. Send us proof within 14 days of moving in and we'll refund the contents protection charges.
