Getting here from Winchcombe
Head to our Cheltenham store
Grosvenor Terrace,
Cheltenham, GL52 2SA
It's 7.3 miles by road, roughly 14 minutes in free-flowing traffic: out along the High Street and Gloucester Street, then Cheltenham Road and Prestbury Road into Winchcombe Street and Grosvenor Terrace. That's an estimate from map routing rather than a timed drive.
Winchcombe is also 9.7 miles (about 16 minutes) from Wigwam Tewkesbury, via Greet Road and Evesham Road. It is the better pick if you want access from 6am to 10pm every day.
Cheltenham's smart entry runs Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm and at weekends and on bank holidays from 10am to 4pm, with no access outside those times.
Heavy loads?
Ask for a ground-floor unit. The mezzanine is reached by stairs only.
Choose the space you need
Use these as a starting point. The Cheltenham team can help you choose.
Illustrative sizes and contents. Unit types and availability vary.
A 25 sq ft unit is £15 a week on the mezzanine and £22 on the ground floor, which is the sort of gap to weigh up if you are carrying things upstairs yourself. Each size and floor is on our Cheltenham price page, and storage is billed every four weeks.
Why Winchcombe people store with us
Winchcombe sits on the Cotswold Way, within reach of both Cheltenham and Tewkesbury, so you can choose whichever drive and set of hours suits your move better.
Moving home
If the new house is not ready, storage for your move holds your furniture until it is.
Renovating

I have used the storage at Cheltenham for nearly two years now and have always been glad I made the change from a large facility in Kingsditch. I recall leaving a glowing review of Casey and his team when I first took on the unit. Just yesterday I left a less than complimentary review but have discovered my frustration at the time was due to misleading info I obtained over the Internet and nothing to do with Wigwam. So that review is withdrawn and I continue to recommend Wigwam as a convenient town centre facility, well run and utilising a high tech, easy to use entry system.

The sales team were great in giving me a tour of the different storage options available and then providing me with quotes. Everything after that point was super easy to get set up and get moved in.
The app is also really easy and user friendly with no issues so far and the premises as a whole feels really secure.

Lenny was great at helping me get my storage over the phone, and was engaging and fun. I also received some help from a nice guy at the location; I think his name is Adam, a very lovely fellow. Friendly staff they've got. First time using a storage unit, and it was seamless to set up and easy to use the app without any confusion. The price was also really affordable, beyond what I assumed it would be, and I still got a 50% discount for the first 8 weeks. I highly recommend Wigwam.

Sarah and the Wigwam team have been fantastic! They've made the whole process easy, convenient, and affordable! Wigwam do really good deals on their storage spaces, 50% off for the first 8 weeks, and they use an app-based system for access to the storage unit which is quick and efficient! This is the best experience I've had with a storage space company to date!!

Impressive storage facility in central Cheltenham
location. Good access in opening hours using the App. (Be prepared to check mail filter if the initial email giving access to the App and hence to your store does not seem to come through.) Clean, well lit. Kasey gave a very helpful introduction and registration process.

Wigwam self storage have proven very helpful when I couldn’t be around for moving out. They gave the removal company access and were transparent and responsive throughout the process of vacating, even when there were delays. I would like to mention Kasey from Cheltenham, who was very supportive start to finish from when I moved in to when I moved out. Thank you.

This was an outstanding customer service experience. Although I was delayed, the staff graciously extended their working hours and patiently waited for my arrival, solely to ensure that I was shown how to access the building.
Much Appreciated ☺️

Whoa, where do I start from, the guys there deserve more than a 5-star, pleasant, patient, good listeners, etc. Having used other storage this is the 1st I've experienced where the guys are happy to get involved with your stuff. The app allows you to have access which for me was way better than the traditional locks. I got there needing a big size but the guys advised that I get my stuff in 1st to see the best size (they were rather concerned about what suits my needs rather than the money) Luke and Kacey you guys are rock starts. Please keep this up. I'll recommend StoreAway Self Storage any day anytime.

All the staff were very responsive and didn't mind answering several email questions before the start of the contract. The app that allows access was super easy to use and the facilities are clean and in excellent condition. Rolling carts made move-in and move-out of our items so much easier.

I cannot recommend StoreAway enough for all your storage needs. The customer service I have received has just been fantastic. Luke is so helpful, friendly and professional. As are all the other staff I have met. Nothing is too much trouble. Not only is it conveniently located in the centre of town it’s so easy to access as you have an app on your phone so no faff with padlocks etc. Extremely competitive prices. Thank you so much Luke & all your team for making it such an easy process & for the incredible service. Dani
