Getting here from Downham Market

15 Hostmoor Avenue,
March, Cambridgeshire, PE15 0AX
It's about 18.6 miles by road, roughly 30 minutes in clear traffic: take Priory Road and Railway Road, then the A1122 Bridge Road. Pick up the B1094 through to the B1098 along Sixteen Foot Bank, then the B1099 and the B1101 into March. Gaul Road takes you on to the A141 Isle of Ely Way and Hostmoor Avenue. That's an estimate from map routing rather than a timed drive, so allow longer at busy times. Half an hour each way is too far for a few boxes, but for a house move or a long stay the trip can pay its way. King's Lynn may be the more natural direction for a small job.
Once you're there, you let yourself in with smart entry, any day from 6am to 10pm, so an early start or an after-work run both work.

March has ground and first floors. Our smallest unit, 10 sq ft on the first floor, starts at £6 a week. Some sizes are on one floor only, and where a size is on both floors the price is the same either way. Every size is listed on our March storage prices page, and storage is billed every four weeks rather than by calendar month. Our March store page has the facilities and access details.
Why Downham Market people store with us
Downham Market sits on the edge of the Fens and on the Great Ouse, about 11 miles south of King's Lynn, and its built-up area had 11,342 people at the 2021 census. Its carrstone buildings earned it the nickname Gingerbread Town, and the Victorian clock tower, built by William Cunliffe in 1878, is Grade II listed. There's no Wigwam in Downham Market itself, so March is the nearest place to keep things safe while life rearranges itself.
