Getting here from Halesowen
Head to our Bromsgrove store
27-29 Sherwood Road,
Bromsgrove, B60 3DR
It's about 10.9 miles by road, roughly 20 minutes in clear traffic: the A459 Queensway and Grange Hill, the B4551 Bromsgrove Road to the A491 Sandy Lane, then the A38 onto the Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass and off for Sherwood Road. That's an estimate from map routing rather than a timed drive, so allow longer at busy times.
Once you're there, you let yourself in with smart entry, any day from 6am to 10pm, so the timing of your run doesn't depend on office hours.
Loading up heavy items?
Trolleys, sack trucks and a pump truck are on site at Bromsgrove, and access is step-free throughout, including to first-floor units. Units above 125 sq ft are ground floor only.
Choose the space you need
Use these as a starting point. The Bromsgrove team can help you choose.
Illustrative sizes and contents. Unit types and availability vary.
At Bromsgrove the floor changes the price, and the first floor is the cheaper one. A 25 sq ft unit is £22 a week upstairs and £25.50 on the ground floor, and a 50 sq ft unit is £40.50 and £46. Larger sizes are ground floor only. The full list is on our Bromsgrove storage prices page, and storage is billed every four weeks.
Why Halesowen people store with us
Halesowen grew around Halesowen Abbey, founded in 1215, and The Leasowes, the garden William Shenstone designed from 1743. Nail making was its traditional trade, and these days a move, an extension or a clear-out is more likely to send you looking for space.
Moving home
Keep everything together between completion dates, with storage for your move on a rolling stay.
Renovating
Empty a ground floor for an extension or a loft conversion, and keep the furniture out of the dust.
Business storage
Give stock or tools a home outside the house, without a commercial lease. Business storage can start with a small unit.
Clearing a parent's home
Take your time over what stays and what goes, with decluttering storage.

Highly recommend this company! I recently moved and needed to store some items and was unsure where to store as I wanted to make sure it was close by but also very secure. I contacted this company and to spoke to Holly who was so welcoming and helped me decide what size would be better for me by allowing me access to see the units. The level of security in the premises is fantastic with cameras at every corner! I decided in the end to go with a 50ft storage and then dealt with both Helen and Jeremy who explain each step what happens moving forward and made sure that I would get access on the date that suited me. The process I thought was going to be long and added stress for me, however all 3 took that stress away! Thank you again!

I had need of storage space at short notice. Wigwam came up in a search as local to me with good reviews. Let me say the reviews are well deserved. They have all different storage unit sizes which you can easily select online.
I've never used self storage before so it was all new to me but Wigwam have made it so intuitive and simple to use. You download the app which gives you easy Bluetooth access to the entire building. I've only used the facility out of office hours and it was all so easy. There are flat bed trolleys, a pump truck and a sack truck to make moving your items hassle free. Safe, secure storage, easy to use, accessible until 10pm and reasonable prices. Top marks all round.
I'd recommended Wigwam to anyone wanting self storage.

Once inside the premises were modern, clean, well lit, and directions to the storage unit were clear and easy to follow…. Even the lift had step by step instructions!
All in all a fantastic company and storage facility.

Excellent experience!
We needed sudden storage after selling our parents’ house. I stopped in at the Bromsgrove branch and found it unmanned, (which I now know is normal).
I rang the number and spoke to an extremely helpful employee who offered me immediate, remote access to the building and let me see inside two different sized units.
After that, the set up was extremely quick!
I applied in the morning and was able to drop stuff off the same day. Everything is activated by an app on your phone but staff can be contacted by phone if needed.
On my second visit (after lots of rain) I did notice a pool of water not far from my unit. I rang up and by next day it had been sorted. No recurrence.
I am really happy with the unit and the excellent service.

Is there a Wigwam store in Halesowen?
No. We serve Halesowen from Wigwam Bromsgrove on Sherwood Road, about 10.9 miles away.
How long does the drive take?
Around 20 minutes in clear traffic. That's a routing estimate, so allow longer at busy times.
When can I get to my unit?
Any day from 6am to 10pm, using smart entry. The office is open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm.
Can I store a whole house's contents?
Yes. Bromsgrove has a range of sizes, and the larger ones, above 125 sq ft, are ground floor only. Step-free access runs throughout the site and trolleys, sack trucks and a pump truck are on site.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
No. We're not currently taking deposits from new customers.
How long do I have to stay?
The minimum stay is two weeks. After that you stay as long as you need and give 14 days' notice when you're ready to leave.
Do I need insurance?
Everything you store needs cover: our contents protection, or your own policy if it covers goods in self storage. Send us proof within 14 days of moving in and we'll refund the contents protection charges.
