Self storage near Staines-upon-Thames
Staines-upon-Thames doesn't have a Wigwam site of its own. Our nearest is on Barnett Wood Lane in Leatherhead, about 20 miles away, with units from £11 a week and access from 6am to 10pm every day. It only makes sense for a large load you'll leave for months.

Getting here from Staines-upon-Thames
Head to our Leatherhead store
1D, Business Park 8, Barnett Wood Lane,
Leatherhead, KT22 7DG
It's about 20 miles by road, roughly 25 minutes in clear traffic: the A308 South Street and London Road to the A30 Staines By-Pass, then onto the M25 and off again for the A243 and the A245 Leatherhead By-Pass. Because the route leans on the M25, check the traffic before you set off. That's an estimate from map routing rather than a timed drive, so allow a little longer at busy times.
Smart entry lets you in any day from 6am to 10pm, so you can time the drive to miss the worst of the motorway.

Illustrative sizes and contents. Unit types and availability vary.
Leatherhead has a ground floor and a first floor, and the floor changes the price. A locker on the ground floor starts at £11 a week. A 75 sq ft unit, the contents of a two-bed house, is £83.50 a week on the first floor and £103.50 on the ground floor, and a 150 sq ft unit is £153 or £192. Every size is on our Leatherhead storage prices page, and storage is billed every four weeks rather than by calendar month.
Why Staines-upon-Thames people store with us
Staines took its full name, Staines-upon-Thames, at a renaming ceremony on 20 May 2012. The granite bridge by George Rennie, opened by William IV in 1832, still carries the A308 over the river, and the London Stone nearby once marked the upstream limit of the City of London's rights on the Thames.
Moving home
A long chain can leave a house's contents with nowhere to go. Storage for your move bridges the gap.
Renovating
Empty the house for a few weeks of building work rather than living round it.
Business storage
Stock and records that have outgrown the shelf space can sit in a unit you visit now and then. See business storage.
Long stays
A big load that won't be needed for months suits long-term storage, with one run in and one run out.
