Getting here from Newton St Loe
Head to our Bath store
4 York Place, London Road,
Bath, BA1 6AE
It's 4.5 miles by road from Newton St Loe, 4.7 from Corston and 3.6 from Englishcombe. All three join the A4, the A36 (Lower Bristol Road) or Pennyquick into the city, then run through the Green Park and Queen Square area to reach London Road. These are map-routing estimates, not timed drives. While Cleveland Bridge was repaired, Queen Square and London Road carried a 7.5-tonne limit (as at September 2026). Check current signage first if you are bringing something big.
Smart entry works any day from 6am to 10pm, so loading before or after work is easy.
Upstairs or down?
Neither floor is always cheaper at Bath, so price both for your size. Access is step-free throughout, including to the upper floors.
Choose the space you need
Use these as a starting point. The Bath team can help you choose.
Illustrative sizes and contents. Unit types and availability vary.
A 25 sq ft unit is £29.50 a week on the ground floor and £28.50 on the first or second floor, while at 10 sq ft the ground floor is the cheaper one. Compare both on our Bath price page. Storage is billed every four weeks.
Why Newton St Loe people store with us
Newton St Loe sits on the A4 corridor, with Newton Park, now Bath Spa University's campus, on its far side from the city. Corston is a little further out along the same road, and Englishcombe is the closest of the three because its lanes drop more directly into the south side of Bath.
Moving home
Keep furniture in a unit between completion dates. See storage for your move.
Renovating
Clear a room or two for the builders without squeezing everything into the rest of the house.
Business storage
Samples, kit or records, a few miles from home. See business storage.
Decluttering
A spare unit makes it easier to tidy at your own pace with decluttering storage.

We found ourselves in a fix when my mums purchase failed to complete on a Friday so could not move in a van full of her belongings, so needed a storage unit at zero notice large enough to fit a Luton van of contents. Wigwam were so understanding and helpful and arranged for the unit to be available so quickly - a real godsend! As we only needed it for a week they explained how to only pay for 2 weeks rather than the normal month- so much cheaper that keeping the hire van van for a further week - thank you!

So, self-storage in a city like Bath is like giving candy to a kid, everyone wants/needs it. But to have such a slick operation as Wigwam, and two amazing managers on site is incredible.
The customer service is second to none, and facilities utterly perfect.
11 out of 10.

We have been extremely impressed by the high level of service from Sascha and Selina at Wigwam in Bath. Following a busy period delivering our public arts project, we urgently needed a small space to store items and within one hour we had agreed a competitive cost and had keyless access via the app. Very happy and would highly recommend.

I enquired about a unit a few weeks ago and was helped by a lovely young lady called Selina. She showed me the units and gave me all the info I needed and followed up on email to make sure I had all the info. I also had some dealings with Sasha and she was equally as helpful. I ended up not needing the unit but their amazing service couldnt go unrecognised. Wigwam are lucky to have such a dedicated professional employees. They were a pleasure to deal with and behave in a way that you'd think they owned the business. Thanks Selina and Sasha for restoring my faith in customer service.

I’ve had a great experience with Wigwam Storage in Bath. The whole place is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Salina has been amazing — always friendly, approachable, and happy to help whenever needed. I feel completely secure leaving my things here thanks to the excellent security system. The app and access system make it really easy to get in and out whenever I need to, and the prices are very reasonable compared to other options in the area.
Highly recommend this storage facility to anyone looking for safe, affordable, and hassle-free storage in Bath!

I had a really positive experience moving in at Wigwam. Staff there (Selina in particular) kept me posted regularly and provided good transparent information about costs and unit availability. On my removal date, the staff showed the movers to the unit and everything went entirely smoothly. Wigwam is not a cheap option but the level of service is excellent - they also have a cool app to access the unit.

Newton St Loe storage: useful things to know
Is there a Wigwam store in Newton St Loe, Corston or Englishcombe?
No. Our nearest is Wigwam Bath at York Place on London Road, between 3.6 and 4.7 miles away by road.
Which village is closest?
Englishcombe, at about 3.6 miles, even though it sits off the A4 that the other two use. We haven't timed the drives, so allow for city traffic.
When can I get to my unit?
Any day from 6am to 10pm, using smart entry, Sundays included. The office is open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 3pm.
Is the ground floor or the first floor cheaper?
It depends on the size. Bath's prices don't favour one floor, so check both columns for your size.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
No. We're not currently taking deposits from new customers.
How long do I have to stay?
The minimum stay is two weeks. After that you stay as long as you need and give 14 days' notice when you're ready to leave.
Do I need insurance?
Everything you store needs cover: our contents protection, or your own policy if it covers goods in self storage. Send us proof within 14 days of moving in and we'll refund the contents protection charges.
