It's about 14.3 miles by road, roughly 20 minutes in clear traffic. From the town centre take Clarence Road to Royal Windsor Way and follow the A355 to the M4. Join the M4, then take the A404(M) towards Maidenhead and Marlow, and come into Marlow on Marlow Road and Bisham Road for Fieldhouse Lane. That's an estimate from map routing rather than a timed drive, so allow a little longer at busy times.

Once you're there, smart entry gets you in any day from 6am to 10pm. The office is open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm, and you can call 01628 769004.

Marlow has two floors, and the floor changes the price. A 10 sq ft unit starts at £10 a week upstairs and £11.50 on the ground floor, and a 100 sq ft unit, about a two to three-bed house, is £65.50 upstairs and £75 downstairs. Every size and floor is listed on our Marlow storage prices page, and storage is billed every four weeks rather than by calendar month.

Windsor lies just south of the Thames, which forms its boundary with Eton. William the Conqueror had a timber motte-and-bailey castle built here by 1070, and Legoland Windsor Resort is close by. Began using Wigwam Self Storage in Marlow at the beginning of September but before hand the team helped me select the right unit for my needs by remotely opening each storage unit during my pre contract visit. Once the contract period commenced the access to the phone app was activated, the app is self explanatory and access was simple with no issues. The storage facility itself is in excellent condition and I would definitely recommend the facility for its convenience and proximity in Marlow. Thank you to the team for helping me during the initial set up period.

Whole process from start to finish was very smooth and the Introductory offer were better then anything else I was looking at. Managed to book a unit viewing, and have the process setup in about an hour, so could start moving stuff in as soon as possible. The remote/ keyless access app works well.

We needed storage as we are moving house and needed somewhere not too far away. The whole process was easy, the price was good and Holly was very diligent in sorting out our needs. We used the app, which was very simple, and our first time at the storage meant we could open all the doors and our unit very easily. Is there a Wigwam store in Windsor?

No. We serve Windsor from Wigwam Marlow on Fieldhouse Lane, about 14.3 miles away.

How long does the drive take?

Around 20 minutes in clear traffic. That's a routing estimate, so allow longer at busy times.

When can I get to my unit?

Any day from 6am to 10pm, using smart entry. The office is open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm.

Is the first floor cheaper than the ground floor?

Yes, wherever Marlow offers both floors. A 25 sq ft unit is £22 a week upstairs against £25.50 on the ground floor.

Is it worth the drive for one box?

No. At about 20 minutes each way, Marlow is better for a move, a renovation or a long stay than for a single box.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

No. We're not currently taking deposits from new customers.

How long do I have to stay?

The minimum stay is two weeks. After that you stay as long as you need and give 14 days' notice when you're ready to leave.

Do I need insurance?

Everything you store needs cover: our contents protection, or your own policy if it covers goods in self storage. Send us proof within 14 days of moving in and we'll refund the contents protection charges.
