Getting here from Patchway

Head to our Bristol Hengrove store

Unit 2 Roman Court, Roman Farm Road,
Hengrove, Bristol, BS4 1UP

It's about 14 miles by road, roughly 26 minutes in free-flowing traffic: join the A38 Gloucester Road and take the M5 to the Almondsbury Interchange, then the M4 east and the M32 into the centre of Bristol. You cross the city on Newfoundland Way and Temple Way to Temple Gate, head south on the A4 Bath Road and the A37 Wells Road, and finish on the A4174 into Hengrove. That's an estimate from map routing rather than a timed drive, so allow longer at busy times.

Once you're there, smart entry lets you in any day from 6am to 10pm. The office is open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm. You can read more about the Bristol Hengrove store before you set off.

Why Patchway people store with us

Patchway is a town of about 8,400 people, around 6 miles north-north-west of central Bristol. Rolls-Royce is a major aerospace employer here, and the four-level M4/M5 interchange at Almondsbury, completed in the early 1970s, is close by. The usual reasons to store from here are a move with a gap between keys, a room emptied for building work, or a new job in the area that arrives before a permanent home does.

Moving home

Bridge the gap between keys with storage for your move.

Building work

Empty a room for the builders and move it all back when they are done.

Business storage

Equipment, stock or paperwork kept in a unit, see business storage.

Starting a new job

Keep furniture safe while a permanent home catches up with a new job, using decluttering storage.

Great online experience with very friendly and helpful staff. I used the storage facility in Bromsgrove, which is very clean and tidy with very useful trolleys readily available and great access.
Honestly was stressing about the whole access on your phone but was stressing over nothing , it is so easy to access, the staff have been absolutely amazing throughout it all, anything isn't too much for them . So thankyou, highly recommend this company

Highly recommend this company! I recently moved and needed to store some items and was unsure where to store as I wanted to make sure it was close by but also very secure. I contacted this company and to spoke to Holly who was so welcoming and helped me decide what size would be better for me by allowing me access to see the units. The level of security in the premises is fantastic with cameras at every corner! I decided in the end to go with a 50ft storage and then dealt with both Helen and Jeremy who explain each step what happens moving forward and made sure that I would get access on the date that suited me. The process I thought was going to be long and added stress for me, however all 3 took that stress away! Thank you again!

The team of wigwam were incredible supporting. They are one of those companies who genuinely care and look after you. During hard times they were patient and considerate - no shady or distaste practices here.

Excellent service. Fast response to email, followed by telephone calls to discuss requirements and finalise paperwork. Prices are competitive, storage spaces are varied in size. The forecourt and the facilities are spotless. Can recommend highly.

Easy peasy. Nice people to deal with; all my (probably, very silly) questions were answered quickly and clearly, and the follow up to check that my move went smoothly was a nice finishing touch.

Patchway storage: useful things to know

Is there a Wigwam store in Patchway?
No. We serve Patchway from Wigwam Bristol Hengrove on Roman Farm Road, about 14 miles away.
How long does the drive take?
Around 26 minutes in free-flowing traffic, mostly by motorway and then through central Bristol. That's a routing estimate, so allow longer at busy times.
When can I get to my unit?
Any day from 6am to 10pm, using smart entry. The office is open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm.
Is the trip worth it for a few boxes?
Probably not. Fourteen miles each way suits a house's worth of belongings stored for a while, rather than a few boxes you'll want often.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
No. We're not currently taking deposits from new customers.
How long do I have to stay?
The minimum stay is two weeks. After that you stay as long as you need and give 14 days' notice when you're ready to leave.
Do I need insurance?
Everything you store needs cover: our contents protection, or your own policy if it covers goods in self storage. Send us proof within 14 days of moving in and we'll refund the contents protection charges.
