Why Prices Vary at Bristol
A few things move the price up or down, and it is worth knowing them before you look at the tables.
- Size. The bigger the unit, the more it costs. That is the main driver, by some distance.
- Floor. Bristol has ground floor units and upper floor units, and the upper floors cost less at every size we hold on both: a 100 sq ft unit is £47 a week upstairs against £56 on the ground floor. The ground floor is where our larger units sit, and it is the easier option if you are moving heavy furniture or white goods.
- The size range by floor. Our smaller units, 10 to 50 sq ft, are on the upper floors. The ground floor starts at 25 sq ft and runs up to 300 sq ft, so for the very smallest and the very largest units the floor is decided by the size you need.
- Length of stay. Our current offer, 50% off your first 8 weeks, applies whatever size you take.
- Availability, demand and time of year. The prices below are our standard from-prices, but like most things worth having, they move with demand. A unit in Bristol can cost more in a busy month, such as the summer moving season or the start of the university year, than in a quiet one. A note worth making, because it works in your favour: on the ground floor, 200 sq ft is £66 a week against £64 for 150 sq ft. If you are weighing up those two sizes, the larger unit is only £2 a week more, so take the space if you think you will use it.

Additional Costs to Consider
The weekly price is not the whole story anywhere in this trade, and we would rather you heard the rest from us than found it out later.
There is no deposit to pay at Bristol. There is a notice period of 14 days before you move out, and the minimum stay at Bristol is two weeks.
