Yes. Pink Hippo Self Storage's sites in Reading, Leatherhead and Dorking now trade as Wigwam Self Storage. On 18 October 2024 the property trade publication Green Street News reported that the investor Paloma Capital "has acquired Pink Hippo Self Storage and plans to integrate the business with its existing platform Wigwam Storage Management", and that Pink Hippo then ran "three self-storage facilities in Reading, Leatherhead and Dorking". Our own Leatherhead page says the site was "Formerly known as Pink Hippo Leatherhead", and the old Pink Hippo website now redirects to our home page, so pick your site from there or use the table below. The company behind the Pink Hippo name has also been renamed. On the Companies House register, company number 09724223 was called PINK HIPPO SELF STORAGE LIMITED from 10 August 2015 until 8 October 2024, and it is now called RED PIG LIMITED. The register shows its status as Active and its nature of business as "99999 – Dormant Company", with its registered office in Harrow, so ask us before you send any payment or notice to that company.

Which business is my agreement with now?
Ask us, and ask which conditions now apply to you. Our own storage conditions don't name the company your agreement is with. The clause that bears on a change like this is 46(j): "We may transfer Our rights under this Agreement to another organisation and will let You know if We plans to do this". Those are the conditions for agreements made with us; if you signed with Pink Hippo, the terms you signed may read differently, so ask for a copy of whatever now applies to you. Our conditions say the Agreement is "made up of the Cover Sheet and these Conditions", so look for the Cover Sheet among your paperwork; if it shows only a brand name, call us and ask which company it is.
This matters most if you're acting for someone else, for example as an attorney or executor, or if you run a business that needs the right supplier name on its accounts. If your paperwork shows Pink Hippo Self Storage Limited, that company has since changed its name, so call us on 0800 2545585 and ask which business to deal with and what name will appear on invoices and payments. Is the email or direct debit I've had from Wigwam genuine?
You may see more than one Wigwam name on emails and payments. The company named at the foot of our website is Wigwam Storage Management Limited, company number 11913942. Did prices, access or terms change?
Our site pages don't say whether prices, access or terms changed when the name did, so ask us on 0800 2545585 before you rely on an old letter or price. What the pages show today: the Reading, Leatherhead and Dorking pages give storage access from 6:00am to 10:00pm. Reading and Leatherhead share office hours: 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday and 9:00am to 2:00pm on Saturday, closed on Sunday. Dorking's office opens 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday and is closed at weekends. Check the page for your site before you visit.

On the Reading page, one begins "After being with Pink Hippo Reading for quite a while now". On the Leatherhead page, one says "I would highly recommend Pink Hippo, Leatherhead." The Leatherhead page also still uses the old name in its own text in places, for example "Pink Hippo Leatherhead’s business storage units can help!"
