Where are Wigwam’s storage sites?

Our sites are spread "across the Cotswolds, the South and the Midlands", as our homepage puts it, with others in Lincoln (Lincolnshire) and March (Cambridgeshire). The locations page is the current list, and it links to the page for your town. Our network changes over time: our Bristol Hengrove site, for example, shows "OPENING SOON: OCTOBER 2026" on its page, so a list you find elsewhere may be out of date.

Where our sites are

Towns with a Wigwam site include Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire; Shipston-on-Stour in Warwickshire, whose page says it serves "nearby areas, including Stratford-upon-Avon, Moreton-in-Marsh, Chipping Norton, Warwick and Banbury"; Cheltenham and Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire; Dorking and Leatherhead in Surrey; Bath; Warminster in Wiltshire; Bromsgrove in Worcestershire; and Burton-on-Trent in Staffordshire.

Our Bristol site is at Hengrove (Unit 2 Roman Court, Roman Farm Road, BS4 1UP). Its page says it opens in October 2026, so call 0117 462 8800 to check it's open before you plan a move around it.

Find your nearest site

Start with the locations page. A town's entry links to its own page with the address, phone number, and access and office hours. If you'd rather start from where you live, use our quote tool, which "will also match you to the nearest branch when you enter your postcode." If your town isn't on the locations page, or you're not sure which site is closest by road, call us on 0800 2545585 and we'll help you choose.

What differs from site to site

Sites have their own pages, hours and prices, so a detail that's true at one may not be true at the next.

What Where to check
Access hours: normally 6am to 10pm, seven days (confirm your hours when you book). Cheltenham's page shows both 6am to 10pm and storage access of 8am to 6pm on weekdays and 10am to 4pm at weekends and on Bank Holidays, so if you need an early or late visit there, call Cheltenham on 01242 800270 first. Our access hours guide
Other details: office hours, prices, unit sizes, offers, containers, floors and lifts. Nothing is added at checkout: the total in your quote is what you pay, and our prices include VAT. Check your site's page, and your online quote

For more on details that vary, see how big are Wigwam's container units?, do you offer long-term storage discounts? and is there step-free access?

Storing for a business or trade

Pick the site nearest the place you'll drive from most often, and ask which sites have containers when you book; our business storage page covers how businesses use our units. Our pages don't say where a van can load at a given site, so call the site before you book; Dorking, for example, is on 01306 774111. For floors and lifts, see is there step-free access?, and for driving up to a unit, see can I drive up to a container unit? If you need units at more than one site, for staff or tenants in several towns, call us on 0800 2545585 before you book, because our pages don't cover how accounts work across sites.

Choosing a site for a parent's or relative's things

A site near their home shortens the clearing trips, while a site near you makes later visits easier, and you can share access to your unit with others.

Already storing with us and moving area

Your agreement is for a unit at the site named on your cover sheet, so moving area normally means giving notice on your current unit and booking a new one at the new site, timed so the overlap is short. Ask us first, on 0800 2545585, before you give notice. Our guide to moving your unit to a different Wigwam site walks through it step by step.

Find your site and get a price

Look up your town on our locations page, then get a price online for that site, or call us on 0800 2545585 and we'll help you pick the right site and size.
