The quickest way is on Google, for the site you used: open your site's page on our website, scroll to "Customer Reviews" and click the "review us on" button with the Google logo. That takes you straight to the review form for that site. You'll need to sign in to a Google account, and Google reviews can't be anonymous. If you don't have a Google account, you can review us on REVIEWS.io instead: you need only an email address, and you can leave your name off. Our REVIEWS.io page covers the whole company. If you're a business customer, reviewing for a relative, or unhappy with something, there's a section for you below.
Leaving a Google review for your site
Our sites have their own Google listings, so a review there sits with the site and the team you dealt with. The button on your site's page goes to that site's listing:
- Open your site's page: Alton, Bath, Bromsgrove, Burton-on-Trent, Cheltenham, Chipping Norton, Dorking, Leatherhead, Lincoln, March, Marlow, Reading, Shipston-on-Stour, Tewkesbury or Warminster. Our locations page lists our sites too.
- Scroll down to Customer Reviews and click the review us on button with the Google logo. The same section shows recent Google reviews for the site and links to its Google listing.
- Sign in to Google if you're asked to. If you don't have a Google account, use REVIEWS.io instead (below).
- Check the listing name includes your town (Marlow's is "Wigwam Self Storage Marlow – Self Storage Units"), then choose your star rating, write about your experience if you'd like to, and post it.
If you'd like to thank someone, Google's content policy asks you not to post another person's "full name or surname" without their consent, so a first name is the safer choice.
Without our website, Google's own steps work too: sign in to Google Maps, search for the place, and click "Write a review". Our Google listings can carry the town in their names (Burton's is "Wigwam Self Storage Burton – Storage Units" and Warminster's is "Warminster Storage"), so check the name and address match your site before you post.
The Bristol Hengrove page is marked as opening in October 2026 and doesn't have the review button yet. Search Google Maps for "Wigwam Self Storage Hengrove", open the listing and choose "Write a review". Check the address includes Roman Court and BS4 1UP before you post.
A few things Google tells reviewers:
- "You're unable to add an anonymous review." Your review shows the name on your Google profile, and anyone can see it.
- Your review "shows up in Google Maps until you take it down". Google may still remove a review that breaks its content policy, for example one that is fake or paid for.
- After it's published you can edit it, change the rating, or delete it.
Leaving a review on REVIEWS.io
Our REVIEWS.io page is at reviews.io/company-reviews/store/www.wigwamstorage.co.uk-ERy0YjE. It is listed under Wigwam Storage Management Limited, Chipping Norton, and covers the whole company, so mention the site you used in your review. The newest review on that page dates from November 2023.
The form on that page asks for:
- your review, at least 10 characters. You can add photos or videos;
- your name, which is optional. Leave it blank if you'd like your review published anonymously;
- your email address, which is required. REVIEWS.io says it needs it "to verify that your review is genuine", that it may share your email with us "to verify your order", and that "You will be contacted by email to verify your review".
Reviewing as a business customer
There's no separate business route. A Google review is posted from a Google account and shows that account's profile name, so decide which account you want the review to appear under before you post. On REVIEWS.io you can leave the name blank, and you could name your business in the text if you want it credited.
Reviewing for someone else
If you dealt with us on someone else's behalf, for example clearing a parent's home or sorting out an estate, the part you handled yourself is your experience, and you can review it from your own account. Say in the review what your role was, so other readers understand it.
Google's policy asks that a review "should reflect an actual experience with a business". It treats content "posted from multiple accounts by or at the request of one person" as fake engagement, so please don't post the same review from several family accounts.
If something went wrong
You're free to leave a critical review. Google's policy doesn't allow businesses to "discourage or prohibit negative reviews".
One review can cover what went well and what didn't. On some of our location pages, the Google reviews shown include replies marked "Response from the owner". If you'd like a reply to your review, or want something put right, tell us directly as well: speak to your site, use our contact page or call us on 0800 2545585, and if it's about money, put it in writing too, so there's a dated record. Don't rely on a review to reach us. Our guide to making a complaint explains the steps. Once it's resolved, you can edit your review to say how it turned out. On Google, an edited review shows the date of the last edit as its post date.
Reviews are public, so leave out your account number and any amounts.
Keeping reviews genuine
Reviews help other people choose storage, so they only work if they're honest. Google's policy covers two situations you might meet:
- Anything given in return: Google's policy doesn't allow reviews "that have been paid for, directly or in kind". It doesn't allow businesses to offer incentives, "such as payment, discounts, free of cost goods and/or services", "in exchange for posting any review or revision or removal of a negative review".
- A personal connection: Google treats reviews based on a conflict of interest as not allowed. Its examples include "current or former employment" and "familial relationships". If you work for us, or a relative does, please don't review us.
The law protects people who read reviews too: the UK government announced that "fake reviews and sneaky hidden fees are now banned once and for all" from 6 April 2025.
Changing or deleting your review
On Google, first find your review in Google Maps:
- On a computer, click Menu, then Your contributions, then Reviews.
- On a phone or tablet, tap Contribute, then View your profile, then scroll and tap See all reviews.
Next to the review, choose "More", then "Edit review" or "Delete review", and follow the on-screen steps.
A REVIEWS.io review is held by REVIEWS.io, which runs that page, so ask them about changing it.
