Introductory offer

An introductory offer is a reduced price for a new customer's first weeks or months, after which the standard price applies. The discounted stretch is sometimes called the promotional period.

At Wigwam

Our offers differ by site, sometimes by type of unit, and they change. On our September 2026 price list they ranged from 50% off the first four weeks to 75% off the first eight weeks:

Offer on the price list Sites
75% off the first 8 weeks Burton on Trent, March, Tewkesbury
50% off the first 12 weeks Lincoln
50% off the first 4 weeks, first-floor units only Leatherhead
50% off the first 8 weeks, containers only Shipston-on-Stour

Several other sites listed 50% off the first 8 weeks, and Cheltenham listed no offer. Your quote shows the offer that applies to the unit you choose on the day you book. The prices on this page are the price list's figures. Nothing is added at checkout: the total in your quote is what you pay, and our prices include VAT. Who qualifies (new customers only, or business customers too) isn't published, so ask us when you book.

Here's what 50% off the first 8 weeks means in money. A 50 sq ft first-floor unit at Reading is listed at £116 per four weeks. With the offer, the first two four-week payments are £58 each, so your first 12 weeks cost £232 instead of £348. From week 9 you pay the standard £116.

The clause to know

Our terms (clause 6 (in the list that begins "You acknowledge that", point (c))) say that if you don't pay on the Due Date, "the value of any discounts and special offers (including periods of free storage) which You have received will be payable by You in full." Keeping payments on time keeps the discount.

Two more things to plan for: budget on the standard price, because that's what you'll pay for most of a longer stay; and remember the price after the offer can itself change, with at least 28 days' written notice (clause 45).
